Most of the Arctic, like most of the world, is commonly owned. With ownership comes the obligation to manage our resources for the benefit of the total. To do that, we must understand the reality, the richness, and the responsibility of the North.

The Arctic Aviation Database

With inputs from Civil Aviation Directorates, the CITF has compiled a database of over 600 airports north of 55 degrees in all circumpolar countries: Alaska / United States, Russia, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland

The data describes the location and infrastructure for the airports along with statistics and contact information. The information is meant for investigation and planning purposes and not for air navigation

Data can be retrieved in three ways. You can enter either an ICAO airport code or a city name in the following boxes for an immediate response or you can select the graphical map-based interface.

It is emphasized that this data is not for navigation purposes.
