At the end of the week, the Institute presented Jacob Adams with this year’s Award Robert O. Anderson Sustainable Arctic Award. The award reinforces the commitment that Alaskans have made to our peoples and communities, and to responsible resource development. Last week’s celebration was truly heartwarming and we are grateful to those who joined us for a remarkable evening to honor a remarkable man.
If you missed the celebration or just want to relive the evening, use these links to access video of the award ceremony and the commemorative video produced by ASRC. Please also help us in recognizing the many sponsors we had for this event, listed alphabetically below.*
The Week of the Arctic complements the Institute’s programs, supports young Alaskans, addresses challenging Arctic policy issues, and helps us advocate for Alaska’s role in national and international decision-making.
